There’s a “game” I play with people sometimes, one with no game pieces on a board, but instead where serious life elements are in motion.

You can’t play around with math and come up with a subjective, bent, easier answer. There is one correct solution — every time.

When a hinge person recognizes a place of darkness, they choose to think of the lives of those around them rather than themselves — love begins to stir them towards the light — towards freedom.

Hinge people will draw no attention to the intense work they have done. A work that will help and protect both themselves and others.

A key phrase describing an often unseen group of people that are intently busy doing a work that makes the world a better place.

The world of sports is filled with lines. Just think of the many ways lines guide a game. Fouls are called, goals are made, players are restricted, and referees have authority — according to the lines.

These words were penned over 400 years before Christ was born by a man who never married, had no children, and spent his life serving a king and a city.

The most important line in life dear one — is profoundly more paramount than the line between light and dark, right and wrong, or even life and death.

It’s a fascinating meditation to grasp the guidance our Father gives us through the simplicity of a line.

We begin by sitting with the final “line” of creation as God designed it to be — this line is a line that God himself adhered to. He did it first. And in so doing, He showed us its necessity and value.

“In the beginning”, the great pen of everything first touched the paper of life. Where the first surgical line cut through the void; the first architectural mark revealed detailed plans.

This line is the same line for every person on earth. It’s been the same line for every person who has ever lived.

It all began with listening ears. The listening ears of Christmas 2,000 years ago overcame the damage done by a refusal to listen 6,000 years ago. Let me explain…

But this one place, this one section of ground under the vast blue sky, is, without hindrance or hesitation, my favorite section of ground in all the world.
